Reservation confirmation deposit

We need all customers to confirm reservations by paying 25% of the total cost by PayPal. Reservations will not be confirmed and put in our calendar otherwise. Customers do not need a PayPal account for this transaction and can make a secure payment with their credit card. We will send a PayPal payment request which our customers will receive from PayPal by e-mail and only need to follow the instructions to finalize the transaction and thus the reservation process.

Cancellation policy

Like all other accommodation service providers world wide, we have a cancellation policy to minimize financial risk due to late cancellations.

A reservation can be cancelled more than 4 weeks before arrival without a charge and with a full refund of received deposit payment.

If a reservation is cancelled 15-28 days before scheduled arrival, the reservation deposit will have to be charged.

If a reservation is cancelled 14 days or less before scheduled arrival, the total rate for the whole stay will have to be charged.

No show / Lost rentals
If you fail to cancel your reservation and/or will not show up on scheduled check-in time, we reserve the right to keep the full prepaid deposit as a compensation for our inability to rent the accommodation for the booked period and charge the remainder of the reservation fee.


Payments can be made in the following manner:

1. By PayPal before arrival.
2. In cash, on arrival in EUR, Icelandic Krona, USD or GBP according to current official currency rate of the EUR at the time of payment.
3. Any other way of payment agreed upon in beforehand.
